Ceremonies
Your wedding can cost you less than you think and certainly less than you pay for a traditional wedding in your home country. Carrob Celebrations offers you a number of choices in Cyprus:
- For your wedding in a church a ceremony one of the romantic little churches, full of charm and tradition, in a pretty traditional Cypriot village is ideal, but if you wanted a beautiful church in a higher profile location we have choices for you.
Anglican wedding ceremonies are carried out by Anglican Chaplains, one of the couple must have been baptised and provide a copy of their certificate as proof.
Please note the marriage of divorcees by Anglican Chaplains in some areas of Cyprus is subject to the individual chaplains approval.
For a Catholic Church wedding, the actual wedding ceremony must have taken place first at one of the town halls or civil offices.
- A civil ceremony that can be carried out at town halls or other licensed premises such as purpose built chapels of love or romantic gardens with the sea as your background, hotels, or even a beautifully decorated yacht. These ceremonies will be conducted in English.
- For a blessing and or a renewal of love for any couple that have had their ceremony at the registry office of their home country, or enjoyed a civil ceremony in Cyprus, and for those wanting to celebrate a special anniversary. These blessings are undertaken by an Anglican minister or arranged Catholic ceremony. Couples can exchange their vows and obtain a certificate.
All wedding ceremonies are available in any of our locations.
Polis Chrysochous, good for eco friendly celebrations, stunning sunsets and a world heritage site of national beauty right on the doorstep.
Pissouri / Limassol, this is an ideal location for romantics; chic, sophisticated and suave; young at hearts; the sports fans and the historians;
Troodos and Paphos, this choice will appeal to most wedding couples and has plenty to offer the romantic or the more lively.
Protaras, an ideal location for the young at heart, romantics, and those that love the sun and the beach.
